Policies:


Preferred payment method: You may pay for your purchase securely online, through PayPal, using your credit/debit card or checking account.

To pay by check or money order: Send an email to chrisdec@sonic.net indicating the item number(s) you are interested in purchasing. I will respond to your email, letting you know if the item is available and will be held for you, pending receipt of your check or money order. Please wait until you receive a response before sending your money. Many of my items are one-of-a-kind and may be sold out. After you hear from me, please send check or money order for amount of item(s) plus shipping (see shipping chart). California residents must add 8.25% state sales tax. Customers residing in Sonoma County must pay 9.00% sales tax, and Sebastopol residents must pay sales tax of 9.25%. Your items will be shipped when your check clears.

Shipping:

All domestic orders are sent U.S.P.S. First Class Mail (FREE), unless another method is requested. You may request U.S.P.S. Priority Mail at checkout, for a $5.00 charge. If you prefer UPS or some other method, email your preferred shipping method, and I will return an email with the additional charges. International orders are sent by International First Class Mail, for a fee of $5.00

Rush Shipments:

Although I try to accommodate your needs, PLEASE order in enough time. Rush items get costly and frantic and could result in late delivery.

Gift Packaging:

Your earrings or necklaces arrive in a colorful gossamer pouch, and in a gift box ready for presentation. If a gift card is desired, please email me with the special message, or type it in the text box that appears on your payment page.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates in any amounts are available. Please email me with your requested amount(s), and the name(s) to whom the certificate is to be issued, along with their mailing addresses. I will send a lovely gift card with your message and the certificate with the amount printed on it. To redeem certificate, order as usual, and use the coupon code printed on the certificate.

Custom Orders

Requests for custom designs are handled by phone, and a photo of finished piece is sent to you by email before payment is made, so that you are satisfied.

Ear wires are a personal choice. If another type of ear wire is desired on the earrings you purchase, please email me, and I will convert them for no additional charge. Wire types available: Solid copper, gold-plated and silver-plated lever backs, gold-plated and silver-plated over surgical stainless kidney shaped wires, gold-plated and silver-plated lightweight simple wires, hand wrought brass, copper, silver plated or gold plated wires (See sample images); silver-plated and gold-plated posts with matching security nut.

Solid sterling silver and gold filled components are available, are priced differently, and will be quoted separately.

Returns:

If, for any reason, your purchase is unsuitable or not what you expected, you may return it to Chris Dec Jewelry and your money will be promptly refunded. Although my liberal return policy is an easy, "no questions asked," I am always curious. If an item's image has not been represented properly, if a description does not seem accurate, or or if there is a problem in the construction of the jewelry, it really helps me to know this so I may correct the problem. I would love to hear from you with any comments.
